Tech Mahindra Foundation (TMF) is collaborating with CORD for an external impact assessment of one of its flagship projects, the Shikshak Samman Awards (SSA) programme, which has now completed 5 years of operation.
To do an impact assessment of the SSA program which has been functioning from 2009 to 2014 in government primary schools in Delhi in the light of the objectives with which it was undertaken.
The study will include both desk and field Study.
Methods will include structured and semi-structured interviews, as well as FGDs.
- 1. Desk Study:
The desk study will provide an overall understanding of the profile of applicants for the awards, which will include both awardees and non-awardees. It will also provide a deeper insight into the initiative before undertaking the field study, and inform the research design, the tools, the plan for data analysis, and the outline of the final report.
- 2. Field Study:
The field study will collect feedback from different stakeholders in the SSA initiative – on their perceptions of the initiative, the process and the outcomes.
